“Echoes of the Mind”

In the exhibition "Echoes of the Mind," three artists Beki Borman, Nastia Craig and Katie Schutte navigate the intricate landscape of perception and memory. Each creator explores the evolving narratives within, unveiling the echoes of personal experiences that shape and reshape one's understanding of self and place. The mind becomes a canvas saturated by color in this introspective exploration where perceptions weave a rich tapestry of individual and collective stories.

“Outside the Box”, VAR Small Works Gallery, Spring 2024

Captured moments from the reception at the very fun, very creative gallery space in Milwaukee dedicated to displaying artworks no larger than 6”x6”. The very unconventional setup of the display allows the eye glide freely around the wall space and admire all the variety of creative ideas and artistic techniques.

“ArtScience of Innovation.” Show and reception at Promega

The Promega Art Showcase will feature the work of three artists in the spring showcase titled “ArtScience of Innovation.” Artwork by artists Todd Siler, Nastia Craig and Monica Cliff will be on public display at the BioPharmaceutical Technology Center beginning on March 21, 2023.

“ArtScience of Innovation” will explore the two-way relationship between art and science. Art in science embraces ambiguity, uncertainty, unpredictability and chaos, while science in art enables problem-solving, critical thinking, reasoning and precision. Exhibiting artists will traverse design principles and laws of nature while providing a glimpse of the human creative potential that invents and innovates.

An opening reception will be held 4:30-6:30 pm with exhibiting artists speaking at 3:30 pm. The reception is free and open to the public. Theremin musician Mushka will perform during the opening reception.
